Bear Hunts

Hunting bears is something we started doing to change up the race with our hounds. It is a different kind of hunt when compared to chasing lions. Our dogs are always in excellent condition and come right out of five months of hunting lions to start hunting bears. There is also a chance that the lion hunt in the units is still open so the opportunity for a combo black bear lion hunt is sometimes an option.

All these hunts are a draw, non-residents usually have better odds to draw than residents. Utah is not known for its quantity of bears but for the color of its bears. You rarely catch a black bear that's black because they come in all different color phases and if you ask me thats a plus. We have caught bears that are cinnamon, blond, chocolate and almost all other color phases a black bear comes in.

*Clients are responsible for all tags and transportation to and from the airport to camp. Due to the area we will be conducting our activities in, some hunts will be conducted out of motels. In such cases, clients will be responsible for own motel fee's. We offer camps for all of our hunts and these are all inclusive with plenty of room to stay comfortable.
